It's not as good as USFA, but it has the name, so it sells for more both new and used If you want to resell it sometime, get Colt. The Rodeo is the best deal out there, but it's not pretty. If you want "damn good" and "American made", get a US Firearms. Guns being individuals, I have had clones and Rugers that are also quite accurate. The Rugers, as well as the various Italian and Spanish clones can be nice, and a good buy, but none of them match the three listed above when it comes to fit and finish, or the accuracy of the Freedom Arms especially, though the USFA is excellent as well. Now they go for well over twice that in nice shape on the used market. Extremely consistant and tight machining. Better action and trigger than most Colts as well. It is as well fit, or better than any Colt SA I have seen, has a nicer finish, and is more accurate. I have a USFA SAA with interchangeable cylinders in 44/40 and 44 spec. The 2nd generations are increasing in price compared to the 3rd's. Both are very nicely finished, but neither is overly accurate. Probably the best single action made in regard to quality and accuracy is the various Freedom Arms models, though they are not strictly traditional SAA's. When you state the words "Best", you really narrow the field.
